A strong end to 2022 as VIP CORALS reach the final leg of fieldworks of the past projects of the center. VIP CORALS Highlights of Accomplishments 2021

          In this 2021, VIP CORALS have been blessed to stay healthy despite the pandemic we are in. And in turn, we are able to stay true to our vision and made 2021 a prolific year in line with the standards of VIP CORALS. New Research Publication on Marine Macrophytes in Verde Island

The NAGAO-funded research “Marine macrophyte composition during summer, southwest and northeast monsoons in Verde Island, Batangas City, Batangas, Philippines” of the VIP CORALS was published in the Philippine Journal of Systematic Biology. The study was aimed to determine the composition, distribution, and dominance of marine macrophytes during the northeast monsoon, summer, and southwest monsoon in four coastal areas in Verde Island.
